Q: Who is The Golden Crū?
A: We are The Cruz Family and we have lived in the beautiful town of Redding, CT for over 15 years. Kristin and her husband David have been fortunate enough to have raised their three children here and they all actively participate in the process of breeding, raising, and caring for each and every one of our pups! Our love for Goldens started in 2021 when we got our first girl, Mazi, and we have never looked back! We quickly learned that this was the breed for us and our family. Since then we’ve adopted our beautiful girl, Kenzie, and she has been the perfect addition to our family. Their gentle souls, the comfort they provide and loyalty they have brought into our home is priceless. We can’t wait to share this love with you! 

Q: What sets The Golden Crū apart from other breeders?
A: At The Golden Crū, we prioritize the health and happiness of our puppies. We take the time to carefully select our breeding dogs and ensure that they go through all necessary health checks. Additionally, we only raise our Golden Mamas and their litters, here in our home. Each litter is whelped and cared for in our home, under our supervision, until the day they go home with their new families. We prioritize the wellbeing of our Golden Mamas and their pups by only whelping one litter at a time. 

Q: Are your puppies AKC Golden Retrievers?
A: Yes! Our Dams and Sires are AKC registered and their puppies will go home with AKC applications as well, for new owners to register.

Q: Are puppy parents health tested? 
A: Yes! Our Dams and Sires are OFA certified in Hips, Elbows, Eyes and Heart. You can click on the links  below to view their individual health clearances.

Q: Does The Golden Crū offer any health guarantees for their puppies?
A: Yes, we offer a 2-year, limited health guarantee for all of our puppies. Please contact us for full details regarding our genetic health guarantee. 

Q: What is the cost for a Golden Crū Puppy? 
A: Our puppies are priced at $3000 each. 

​Q: Are deposits required to reserve a puppy from The Golden Crū?
A: Yes, we do require a non-refundable $500 deposit to reserve a puppy. This helps ensure that our puppy buyers are committed and also reassures our new families that they have a secured puppy from a specified litter.

Q: Does The Golden Crū offer home visits to see available puppies?
A: Yes, we do offer virtual and in-home visits! Prospective families are welcome to book a virtual visit with us before securing a deposit, however at this time, home visits are reserved for our committed families and are booked individually, to ensure the health and safety of our puppies.
